Typography turned into buildings drawn in a flat isometric style
Building a Typeface
This personal project came from the style I was using at my 9-5 during the time. Where I was creating objects and shapes (wine bottles, pencils etc) I wanted to see what this style could be in the form of a typeface.
The project uses the font 'Neusa' by Mariya V. Pigoulevskaya. Influenced "by the early space explorations including the iconic “Life” magazine coverage of the 1969 Apollo program." Which in turn informed the styling of the vents, windows, pipes, etc.
A different font, say Comic Sans, would be totally contrasting despite being in isometric view.
This was a lot of fun to create!
