Graffiti & Games

After my 36 Days of Type project from 2020, I wanted to stay on the topic of video games but craft the letters in a different way. I decided graffiti was a good choice as this is where my love for type started in the first place.

I created a list of video games that started with each letter of the alphabet. For the numbers, I used games that had the number in the title eg 3 = Tony Hawks Pro Skater 3.

During this project I created a 'Guess the game' quiz through Instagram Stories to gather interest in the project. The day before each letter I would post a close-up image of the game, so for '3' I posted an in-game image of the character on a skateboard. Followers would reply to my stories with a guess. I would repost the funniest answers the next day, along with the right answer, and the same in-game image zoomed out.
